Ming Chinese Restaurant

We've been living in Petts Wood for nearly 5 years and I can't believe it's taken us this long to visit Ming! We went on Saturday night for my partner's birthday and had a wonderful time. We had our three year old with us, and from the moment we walked in, the staff were super friendly and very attentive. They had a booster seat for our little one (which was upholstered with the same fabric as the chairs, small detail, but pretty cool). We opted to go for one of the set menus, and the food was absolutely delicious. The starters came out super quickly, and we were able to share that with out little one and still started to fill up. There was plenty to go around. Next was the duck pancakes. The duck was delicious and plentiful, and getting an extra pot of pancakes was also no trouble at all. Then the mains came out, and they were just the right size. There was so much food and we found ourselves defeated, but fortunately the leftover rice, and the extra curry we ordered were boxed up to take home no problems at all. I would definitely recommend booking, especially on the weekend. When we arrived around 6pm, there were a couple of other tables occupied, but by the time we left a bit after 8pm, the place was heaving. Definitely seems to be a local gem, and we will very likely be back again in the future!

The food was excellent as usual. But the 2 men serving and taking our orders was so rude and mody never smiled at all so grumpy trying to hurry us up eating our food. No respect. You need New workers definitely

Never been to Mings although I've lived round bromley for years. But tried it on Thursday for a change. Lunch with my daughter and we had the 2 course set lunch, two spring rolls each really crunchy and delicious with sweet chilli dip. Then i had the beef with black bean sauce and noodles; beef was so tender. Yummy. My daughter had large prawns and vegetables with noodles. 2 extra on set menu price but worth it. Huge portions so we took some noodles home which she finished for dinner. Great that they do temperature check and hand gel on arrival wish more places did. Staff were attentive and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. A great lunch and will visit again. Thank you mings.

We celebrated my husbands 70th Birthday Party here, inviting 34 guests, it was a lovely celebration, the food was delicious and hot. I would thoroughly recommend Ming, whether celebrating in a large party, or for a meal with friends or a partner. The meal took place over the Christmas period but we were allowed to stay as long as we wanted. The staff at Ming are extremely friendly and professional.

We went early evening on a Friday, and the restaurant was nearly empty. We ordered ma y plates, and even one that was not on the menu (Salt and pepper fried bean curd) which was everyone's favourite. By the time we left the restaurant it was filling up, so it is best to book.

5 of us visited Mings on Saturday 23rd October 2021 and have to say the food and service was excellent from start to finish. Jenny and all the other people working in Mings were excellent they just couldn't do enough for us, well done to Mings and all their staff. We will be back ...

Always having an amazing time at Ming Restaurant! The food is delicious and the portions are good (we go for the set menus). Jenny is so sweet and pleasant, always adding an extra spark to our family meals. Keep up the good work!
